BAWDYHAUZ (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use our platform, apply for membership, or make a purchase. We operate under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, location, and the responses you give during the application and onboarding process. We also collect usage data, device information, and payment details (processed securely by Stripe — we never store card data).
We use your data to review your membership application, manage your account, facilitate introductions and experiences, process orders, and provide therapy session booking. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for purposes beyond providing you with the BAWDYHAUZ service.
Member identities are never shared with other members without your explicit consent. Profile information is accessible only to your designated matchmaker and, where relevant, to therapists with whom you book sessions. Your identity is protected at every level of the platform.
We retain your data for as long as your membership is active, plus a period of 3 years for legal compliance purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at privacy@bawdyhauz.com. Certain data may need to be retained for legal reasons.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your data; to restrict or object to processing; and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@bawdyhauz.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office).
